So, this year has had some major ups and downs. Making this my "year in review blog" is a simple term to which we can all agree. There is only so much time left in the year (and only so much sanity left in my body) to write this, and after having two screwdrivers, some pizza and a good laugh with my buddies, I believe this is the best time to pump out a blog. I know its been a while since I've updated you all on my wicket attempt at weight loss (I am basically at square one, or just a couple pounds less then where I started in the beginning), but the time has come to just take a moment to reflect upon the accomplishments big and small.
If we take a look back at January, I struggled a bit because I had some emotional tie ups with the ex. That lasted through February and March and a little smidge of April. In that time I got my motorcycle license! I learned how to ride a motorized bike, and it was pretty sweet! I'm still looking for the "right bike" and the right amount of money to purchase said "investment." Well, Thats all I really did in spring. I got a motorcycle license, ended a 4.5 year relationship, and met a new guy...? Don't forget scuba certification! I got that in May. Thats creeping into the summer zone though. Even still, its pretty amazing!
So, for the first half of Summer time I just worked, and I moved out of my apt, felt how it was like to be a bum and float on someone elses couch. This was also the beginning of my Single life. Oh how the mighty have fallen... I was SO comfortable I forgot what it was like to Work at relationships of any kind. Let that be a lesson to ye mateys. Don't let things get boring and bland. You might end up like me! A man who wants to marry you, and you have no clue where to go next other than single. Thats right folks! Had I stayed exactly where I was, I would be engaged or something crazy like that. HO-LY CRAP. Can you even imagine it? I kind of can, but not really with him :-/ Weird. ANYWAYS....
So Summer time was a little surreal for me. Dating someone new. Playing that "getting to know you" game, and sleeping on a couch... BUT WAIT!!! A magical plane took me away to Europe and I studied German, and learned a lot about myself and made some amazing friends that I wouldn't trade for the world! Thankfully they are all american and at most a few hours away. I grew closer to some other friends and farther away from others.
I don't feel like finishing this blog. I am going to write a new one (I started this about two weeks ago and lost my mojo).
