So for those of you who were too busy learning about Osama getting shot then dumped in the ocean (which I totally don't believe that we don't still have his skanky body), I GOT MY PURPLE BELT!!! My body is only slightly battered and bruised, which I expected wayyyyy more. The scariest part of my test was durring the sparring matches. I found out that I would be fighting against Elvis (who is almost the scariest person I know). First words out of my mouth "OH FUCK ME." No bueno. I've been avoiding him like the plague. Seriously. He asked me to spar once and I straight up told him "Hell no, you scare the hell out of me." No way jose. Anywhos... I even teared up a little bit fearing for my face. I had places to be after the belt test, and my face is very important to me! He is notorious for making adjustments to peoples faces. SCARY.
So during the fight I was just balls to the wall chasing him around. People gave me props for that cause everybody knew how badly I've been avoiding him. At least it Wasnt big Dave or Alfredo or else I would have ran the whole time.
Rule #1: Cardio.
Not that my fight had anything to do with being a zombie, but seriously gotta start doing the running stuff. If I want to run the race for the cure this year I gotta do it anyways... SO yeah. During the fight (me being a girl, and he knows how terrifying I think he is) E started to fuck with my mind. He took a "break" and was waiting for me to come after him. So while he was bent over taking a breather I faked him out and then hit him straight in the nuts. After I did that I instantly appologised and kept moving because I didn't want my face to morph into something unnatural and disgusting! But I got some really good shots on him even though he was basically dicking around and whacking me every chance I got. Just made me realize HOW much I need to improve.
In some of my other matches I did deal some damage to my friend Kim (who I usually don't like to fight) and I accidentally made a girl bleed on her hand. HOW that happened I have no idea. My bad. Not my first time drawing blood though. I must say, its a LITTLE bit satisfying. Now I get to learn me some Judo. I gotta learn me a lot of Judo because I am going out of country and will arrive just before the belt test. WHO WANTS TO TEACH ME JUDO. SRSLY. Just the stuff thats gonna be on my test though. I'm not an OVER achiever. I just want to be able to whoop some serious ass at my next belt test cause I have judo matches AND sparring matches... and I think I have my first two on one at the next belt? I love purple, but blue is already looking nice.
Yay me!
