Wholesome Dinner, Epic Fail.

Well today was a terribly bad day as it relates to food, or at least "healthy" food. I started my day with some breakfast tacos from Taco Cabana which were not bad, but I am still having issues getting over eggs in public. I ate and drove to work because I didnt have time to do each separately. I got salsa juice all over my scrubs... way to go me...

It was a pretty non-eventful day at work other than the fact that I got to see the light of day when I picked up lunch from Wahoos Fish Tacos. I got a chicken quesadilla because I hate fish. Cheese and meat, two of my favorite things. The outing on picking up lunch was very uplifting for me because it happened that the Texas weather decided not to suck for an afternoon. My second outing was to the hospital to borrow some stuff for my work. It made me realize how much I miss the hospital setting. The atmosphere, being surrounded by joy and sorrow, the smell of sterile everything, people looking at me like I matter... Its all very nice. Plus it was still nice outside. The rest of my day was busy. Like hell in a handbasket I would say. Except these baskets were filled to the brim with prescriptions to fill... booooooo. Needless to say, I left two hours late and my feet hate me. Also needless to say, I am skipping the gym tonight but I might make up for it with a little bit of Wii Play on just dance or something.

When I got home from work I got the mail and got back my speeding ticket in the mail because I kind of purposely didnt fill out a part of it to avoid paying it for another two weeks, but its time to just buckle down and get it notarized so I can do my defensive driving and be done with it. I debated a pedicure today, but tomorrow will be better since I'm not doing a lot except for maybe reading a chapter of Criminal Law (because my teacher doesnt teach, she just reads out of the book...WTF) and watching Arrested Development. After chatting breifly with my roomie, I decided to make some dinner which ended up being some Smore PopTarts and a pepperoni Hot Pocket. Very healthy and stimulating. I am not really feeling the whole being healthy eating and all that jazz, but its a lifestyle change not just a diet. Its harder to change than temporarily starve myself to drop some LBs and then stuff myself right back up again. Only you can change yourself... sucks but its true.

I fully intend on eating ice-cream tonight. But I compromise and eat skinny-cow :)
